Anglers Anchorage Marina at Brentwood Bay

We made it to the Anglers Anchorage Marina at Brentwood Bay.

We made it through customs quickly and easily this morning with a quick stop at Bedwell Harbour, where after checking in on the phone, we were instructed to wait there to a specific time, and if nobody had contacted us for inspection that we were free to go.

Our reason for visiting this marina is that Marcia is showing Desdemona (our sheepdog) at the dog show at the Saanich fairgrounds, and this is one of the closest marinas to that fairgrounds.

We are not far from Butchart Gardens, .43 miles away by direct line, but I am not quite sure how to get there without going further on the roads.

I haven’t seen enough of the are yet to really judge if this is somewhere that we would want to come back to if it wasn’t for the dog show.

Here is a photo of a Canadian Navy ship that we passed underway today. It was really moving, easily going twice our 10mph speed.
