Sidney Spit just outside of Sidney BC has become one of our favorite stops just across the border in Canada.
So far we have stayed at Sindey Spit twice and twice we have seen orca whales. There are easy to spot becuase there are usually 4 to 8 whale watching boats surrounding them. We were on anchor and could see them at a distance on the other side of the spit both times.
This monster ship made its way past us heading north yesterday.
