Roche Harbor for the Bayliner Rendezvous

Journey from Jones Island to Roche Harbor for the Bayliner Rendezvous

Today was an exceptional day as we embarked on a short 6.8 mile boat journey from Jones Island to Roche Harbor, a picturesque harbor nestled in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. Our adventure was filled with the serene beauty of the Pacific Northwest, making it a memorable experience worth sharing.

Setting Sail from Jones Island

We began our day early on Jones Island, known for its rugged beauty and tranquil surroundings. The island’s lush forests and scenic trails offered a perfect backdrop as we prepared to set sail. The morning mist hung low over the water, creating a mystical atmosphere that promised an enchanting journey ahead.

We set our course for Roche Harbor. The water was calm, reflecting the overcast sky, and the gentle hum of the engine was the only sound breaking the island’s silence.

As we left Jones Island behind, the vast expanse of the Salish Sea stretched out before us. The journey was approximately 7 miles, and the anticipation of reaching Roche Harbor for the Bayliner Rendezvous added excitement to our voyage.
