After 18 months with the boat out of the water and listed for sale, followed by our shakedown cruise earlier this month, we are finally off on our first real adventure of the season.

We started this trip with a new inverter, as our previous one failed on the shakedown cruise. The
Xantrex Freedom XC Pro Marine Inverter/Charger is working great so for. I like the bluetooth connectivity that we didn’t have on the previous inverter.

In these blog posts, I always keep a running count of the number of nights we have spent aboard since purchasing the boat in 2020. Last night marked night 191 on board, and we are hoping to add many more nights to that total this year.

So far, our trip has included one night at Sucia Island, three nights at Roche Harbor, and now we are at Prevost Harbor on Stuart Island. It feels great to be back out cruising again, and we’re off to a good start getting back into the boating lifestyle.

We just wrapped up the Bayliner Rendezvous at Roche Harbor, which was, as always, a fantastic time. It was great catching up with fellow Bayliner owners, sharing stories on the docks, and enjoying everything that makes Roche Harbor such a special destination.

After leaving Roche Harbor this morning, we pointed the bow toward Stuart Island, one of my favorite destinations in the San Juan Islands. Stuart has a way of slowing things down. Between the quiet anchorages, scenic shoreline, and laid-back atmosphere, it is the perfect place to unwind after a busy weekend. Tonight we’ll be anchored in Prevost Harbor, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and looking forward to whatever adventures the next few days bring.
