Our latest cruise included a one-night stop at Mañana Resort in Ladysmith, BC, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. This marks the 199th that we have stayed on the Off Leash since purchasing it.
Ladysmith is on Vancouver BC and the town is exactly on the 49th Parallel.
The marina has recently been completely remodeled, and it shows. Everything looked fresh, modern, and exceptionally well maintained. From the docks to the facilities, it felt like an entirely new marina and was a pleasure to visit.
Dinner at 1948 Bar and Bistro was equally impressive. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and it made for a perfect evening after a day on the water. It’s easy to see why the restaurant is becoming a destination of its own.
After visiting other marinas around Ladysmith, we can honestly say that Mañana Resort is the nicest marina we’ve experienced in the area. Combined with what was easily the best meal we’ve had in Ladysmith, it made for an outstanding stop.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back on a future cruise. If you’re planning a trip through the area, Mañana Resort is well worth adding to your itinerary.
