Patos Island

Patos Island is the furthest Northwest of the US San Juan Islands.

Patos Island Lighthouse

Patos Island was a manned lighthouse in the late 1800’s to early 1900s, and was used during WWI and WWII as an observation station.

Today it is a state park, there used to be 2 to 3 mooring buoys provided by the state, but they are no longer there.

If you are going to stay at Patos Island by boat you will need to set your own anchor, which can be tricky in the bay between Patos and Little Patos.
