New Forward Toilet
After trying to rebuild the Jabsco marine toilet in the forward head, and failing I ordered a new replacement. It was much quicker to install the new toilet than it was to attempt to rebuilt the old one.
With the help of George it took about 45 minutes to replace the old toilet with a new one.
After the new toilet was installed, I noticed that the volume of water that is pumped into the bowl is much greater than we have seen in the past. I guess that is good news to help with the flushing.
Here is the unit we replaced it with, the Jabsco 37010 Series, Electric Marine Toilet, Boating Head.
The next step is to replace the rubber hose that come from the thru hull raw water intake and goes to the toilet.
The one complaint that everyone has on this toilet is that it is quite loud when you flush, they do make a quieter one, but the complaint on the quiet one is that it doesn’t work well. I would rather have a loud toilet that functions well instead of a quite one that doesn’t flush well.
