Friday night we stayed at Deer Harbor on Orcas Island, this was our first time to stay overnight at Deer Harbor. The staff were friendly and we had a nice stay, with an early morning departure.

The nice thing about Deer Harbor is that they accept reservations, where some other places like Roche Harbor are not accepting reservations due to covid.

We left Deer Harbor early on Saturday morning arriving at Roche Harbor on San Juan island at 8;30am to get on the daily waiting list for a slip. We had a slip assignment by about 10:15.

We stayed Saturday night at Roche Harbor, this was the view from the upper deck on the 4788.

Sunday we want for a walk through the Roche Harbor Sculpture Garden, which was interesting, certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.

The new toilet installed on board last week and the new stereo worked great on this trip. As did the filter on the holding tank and the new cockpit lighting.

It was a really fun weekend.
