We finally escaped our wind-trapped location in Nanaimo and made our way to Secret Cove Marina on the Sunshine Coast BC. This involved crossing the Georgia Straight, and some wind and spray on the boat.

Here is our trip route so far with todays trip being 28.7 miles for a total of 103 miles on this trip so far.

Secret Cove is a very sheltered small bay with almost no wind. Compared to the wind we have seen for the past 5 days it is a great place to be. Temps are about 10 degrees cooler than Nanaimo, and it feels good.
