Refuge Cove
When we started planning our Desolation Sound trip over the winter, one of the things we did was watch Youtube videos from people who had been here, and Refuge Cove kept showing up as one of the places to visit. Well we finally got here on day 20 of our trip. It is a fun little destination, and I think that a one night stay is about perfect.
It is not a big area, but they had room to get the dogs out, and to stretch our legs on the dock.
We visited the restaurant for margaritas and a lunch of oyster po’ boy sandwich. Which was really amazing.
We travelled 10.9 miles today for a total of 298 miles travelled so far on this trip.
There is a fair amount of seaplane traffice on the dock here.
Around 9pm our entertainment was a lightning storm. Light rain, and lots of thunder. As I write this I have a dog hiding between my feet on the floor.
