LED Lighting Improvements
Late last season I installed outside LED lighting on the boat. It tucks in under the overhang, and is not noticeable during the day. The lights originally came with a not-so-great power control and a remote control. The colors didn’t work right, and it was hard to control. I found some WIFI connected LED Light controller devices that allow me to control the lights from an app on my phone, even when I am out of range of the boat. Here is the device, one end plugs into 12v and the other end into the LED strips. Two of these one for port and one for starboard lighting. Then a couple more for the flybridge later.
I did some work to get it work and have it all hidden without wires hanging out, and I think it turned out really good.
Next step – LED lighting on the fly bridge.
