This weekend we are at the Bayliner Rendezvous at Roche Harbor. About 10 boats on the dock with the group, including three 4788’s. Today with some help from George, we reinstalled 6 of our 8 solar panels for the season. We remove them each winter to keep them from getting destroyed. Where we keep the boat in the winter we have shore power, but where we keep the boat in the summer we do not have any shore
Today I installed the Starlink internet from SpaceX on the boat. and I am getting between 180mb to 250mb download speeds and about 30mb to 35mb upload speeds. Not bad for the floating office. The first thing I tried was WiFi calling utilizing the Starlink wifi. The call was crystal clear with no noticeable latency.
