Our Westebeke 12k generator is critical in the operation of our boat as we spend quite a bit of time during the summer with no shore power.

As part of our pre-season checklist one of tasks was replacing the fuel filter for the generator.

I am starting the habit of marking the date changed with a sharpie or label maker sticker on any filter that we replace so that we can be sure they all get changed at least anuually.

This was quick and easy with the help of George. Fortunately there were multiple spare filters on board so it did not even involve a shopping trip, and we still have spares for next time.
