This 10 day trip accounted for our 73rd night on the boat since we purchased it.

Day 1

On day 1 we started the trip at Home and travelled to Anacortes.

On day 2 we stayed at Anacortes.

On day 3 we started the trip at Anacortes and travelled to Roche Harbor.

Day 4

On day 4 we started the trip at Roche Harbor and travelled to Maple Bay.

Our route from Roche to Maple bay was 35.6 miles.

On day 5 we stayed at Maple Bay for a second day visiting with friends.

Day 6

On day 6 we started the trip at Maple Bay and travelled to Telegraph Harbour.

Day 7

On day 7 we started the trip at Telegraph Harbour and travelled to Pages Marina at Silva Bay.

On day 8 we started the trip at Pages Marina and travelled to Montague Harbor Provincial Park.

Day 9

On day 9 we stayed the day Montague Harbor Provincial Park.

Day 10

On day 10 we started the trip at Montague Harbor Provincial Park and travelled to Home.

We stopped of at Sucia Island for a couple hours while we waited for the tides to be good to get back into Sandy Point.

The route home was 40.7 miles, the longest day on the trip. The entire trip route is shown here.

Favorite Stay

Our favorite stay was a Montague Harbor for 2 days. We were able to get out and do some hiking.

Favorite Location

Marcia says Pages at Silva Bay and Steve says Telegraph Harbor. Both were very relaxing and would could have stayed another day at either location.

Best Store

Montague Harbour and Pages at Silva Bay. None of the “stores” that we came across were very well stocked, but Montague and Silva seem to have more than the other stores along the way.

Biggest Surprise

How fast the current was in the pass by Silva Bay.

Thankful For

Being able to do a trip like this.

Didn’t Like (would do different)

Too many one night stays. More 2 night stays with exploring.

Should Have Had

Marcia says garlic. Steve says wasp traps, but the wasp traps would have really only been needed at Silva Bay.

Fixed

The foot pedal button to drop the anchor with the windlass was not working. I took that apart part way through the trip and cleaned the electrical contacts to get it working again.

Marcia worked on refinishing many cabinet doors, and replacing the cabinet door knobs.
