Today I added a second screen to fill a blank part of the dashboard that looked a bit out of place. This was a 23 inch 1080p HDMI monitor.

Right now it is just displaying the same thing as the NSS16 in the dashboard to the right, but once we get the fly bridge NSS9 hooked up we will connect it to that.

This monitor has additional connections, the plan will be to hook up a computer to it and to also use it for remote viewing of the surveillance cameras, which are still to be installed to help with docking and backing.

To mount this, I found the smallest, thinnest wall mount unit and used that. The screen is raised up about 3/4 of an inch which is hardly noticeable.

Here is a view of what the dashboard looked like when we purchased the boat. Many of the electronics didn’t work at all.
