Our homeport for the 4788 Off Leash is Sandy Point near Ferndale WA. This is a community built around a harbor that was dredged over 50 years ago.

After our recent 11 day trip, we are now back to home base until our next adventure.

Here are some photos of the harbor. See if you can find the opening from the harbor to open water, it is pretty narrow.

The west side of the point is open water and the closer islands are Sucia, Matia and Patos, to the south Lummi Island, southwest to Orcas, Clark and Barnes islands. The east side is tide flats and is great fun a high tide, but at low tide it is just mud.
