Toba Wilderness Resort

Today is day 12 of our Desolation Sound journey. We had a short trip from Roscoe Bay to Toba Wilderness Resort. Yesterday afternoon the forest fire smoke really rolled in giving the sky a slight red tint. The smoke is not as bad as we have seen at home in previous years.

Toba Wilderness Resor is located at the start of Toba Inlet. Toba Inlet is a deep and narrow fjord located on the mainland coast of British Columbia, Canada, northeast of the city of Powell River and to the south of the larger Bute Inlet. Toba Inlet is one of the several fjords on the British Columbia coast. It slices through the coastal mountains, creating steep cliffs and deep waters. The inlet is characterized by its rugged terrain and is bounded by mountainous landscapes.

Here is our trip route so far, just over 200 miles travelled.
