An Early Escape to Sucia Island: A Midweek Adventure
We decided to beat the Memorial Day weekend rush and set off for Sucia Island on a serene Wednesday afternoon. Leaving the midweek hustle behind, our adventure began with the excitement of exploring one of the most picturesque spots in the Pacific Northwest.
As we cruised through the calm waters, the gentle breeze and the rhythmic splashing against the boat set the tone for a peaceful getaway. The sun was high, casting a warm glow over the sparkling waves, and the anticipation of reaching our destination grew with each passing mile.
Upon arrival, Sucia Island greeted us with its untouched natural beauty. The island, known for its rugged shoreline, hidden coves, and lush greenery, promised an escape from the ordinary. We docked at the Fossil Bay dock, and as we stepped onto the island, the tranquility enveloped us.
This was a 2 night stay before heading off to the next location on this adventure. Making it now 122 nights that we have stayed on this boat in the last 4 years since purchase.
