Marcia finished her winter project on the boat of a new look for the fridge, livening up the galley with some color. Here is the before, with the dirty wood grain. And now the after: Certainly an improvement in my opinion.
Today we were reviewing carpet samples on the boat for new carpet to go throughout. The salon, stairs, hallway, staterooms and pilothouse. Here are the samples we are considering. The darker gray one is currently the leading selection. More to come as we make the pick and get it scheduled for install.
One of my favorite Christmas presents this year was the custom branded door mat for the boat. It really makes the entry look great.
The previous factory installed artwork in the 4788 pilothouse was falling apart beyond repair. I picked up the Orca artwork to replace what was there. After replacing that it points out how worn the wallpaper is on that wall, so one more thing added to the to do list now is wallpaper.
