After 2 nights at Friday Harbor we have moved on to Roche Harbor for one night. Here is the short 12 mile route. Which ws a smooth ride and took just under an hour. A short timelapse vide of the trip: And some photos from Roche Harbor.
Staying 2 nights in Friday Harbor gave us the opportunity to explore the area a bit. We enjoyed the day, had a fair amount of walking and will certainly return again. Worked reboatly part of the day, and explored the area the rest of the day.
Tonight is the first time we have ever stayed overnight at Friday Harbor. We have been here plenty of times passing through, but never overnight. Here is our route fo the day. We took off after I was done with work for the day. The water conditions were about as good as you can get
After a number of repairs in July and our shakedown cruise last weekend, we are now on the way. Today is day 1 on the desolation sound trip. We left Sandy Point in the late afternoon and made it to Sucia Island in time for dinner. Tomorrow we cross the border and head to Montague

Last night we stayed at Sucia Island State Park on anchor, and tonight we at at Prevost Harbor on the dock on Stuart Island. Tonight will be night 82 on the boat since we purchased it. This is our first trip out after new bottom paint, a new generator, freshly detailed and waxed, new canvas
