Maple Bay Marina for 2 nights

Maple Bay Marina for 2 nights

We cleared customs quickly today at Bedwell Harbor, then on to Maple Bay Marina.

Here are some photos from the marina. This is fun full service marina, with plenty of water, a restaurant, and even a boatyard.

To keep cool we rolled out our window insulation. The previous owner had this on board to keep warm in Alaska, but it also works to help keep the heat out on a hot day.

Up top we deployed the triangle sun shade with a make shift pole using a boat hook.

Here is our approximate route, it looks like the tracking jumped a little bit and shows us going over land which was not the case.

Last time we were at Maple Bay was 4 years ago in our Trophy that was about half the size of the Off Leash. The night we stayed here 4 years ago was the time we realized that it was impossible for someone 6ft tall to sleep comfortably on board. That was the start of the discussions to get to a bigger boat.

The predecessor to the Off Leash in 2018.

Also Maple Bay 4 years ago was the first time that I ever worked reboatly by connecting using the cell phone as a wifi hot spot. Now we have Starlink on board, at least 150 times faster that what we had 4 years ago.
